Climate Change is a major threat to humans and economic development. With a of 70 billion humanities industrious activities for the over the past 200 years has resulted to air pollution. Kenya with support from the Royal Denish Government and DANIDA has chosen to address this issue. Drastic weather patterns are experienced many parts of the country like Turkana drought and flooding is experienced. Africa responsible for less than 4.5% of gas emission while USA 25% is responsible of global emission. Developed nations are trying to curb the Climate Change situation.
Farmers in Kenya have been highly affected with poor agricultural yields, the energy sector among others with poor environmental management. Low carbon development plan is being developed renewable energy sources has been introduced. National climate change plan 2013-2017 with support from the Kenyan Government was launched to provide options for releasing hazardous gases and mitigation processes.
